Managing the plot, character development, pacing, tone, and overall structure all at the same time can be very overwhelming, and even bring a writing project to a grinding halt. To help ease this problem, I offer a professional external perspective, bringing clarity, feedback, commentary, and practical guidance to help strengthen your narrative and guide your story.
I provide support tailored to your needs, whether that means helping you refine drafts, offering broader story analysis, or assisting with planning and structuring your work from the ground up. This can include advice on plot arcs, character development, pacing, theme, narrative voice, and cohesion, giving you actionable insights to strengthen your story.
No matter what stage your project is at, my goal is to make the process more manageable, and help you move forward with clarity, purpose, and a sense of narrative control.
Process
We first meet to discuss any specific areas in which you would like feedback, as well as the overall goals for the project, then I go away to look over the text. I then organise further meetings to discuss feedback.
Pricing
For narrative feedback or guidance I charge £15 / thousand words. If you require other services as well I will do a package discount off the total project quote.
